About

Six chalets, built one at a time

Pine Ridge is six chalets on one wooded ridge above Kfardebian, fifty minutes from Beirut and five from the Mzaar lifts. Each one is its own house: its own kitchen, its own fireplace, its own terrace, and nobody above or below you.

We built them one at a time over ten years, from the little Juniper Cabin to the Summit Lodge, and we live on the ridge ourselves: the keys, the firewood and a word of advice about the road are always a message away.

Seasons

Snow in winter, cool air in summer

From December to March the ridge is white: ski or snowboard at Mzaar in the morning, then the hot tub, the sauna and the fire. Friday and Saturday nights go first, so book your winter weekends early.

From May to October it is the other Lebanon: twenty degrees when Beirut is at thirty-five, hiking, the lake at Chabrouh, long dinners on the terrace and a sky full of stars. Weeknights are the quiet, cheaper way to have it.

FAQ

Good to know

How much is a night?

Each chalet has its own price, from $95 a night for the Juniper Cabin to $420 for the Summit Lodge. Friday and Saturday nights cost more. The calendar on this page shows the price of every night and adds up your stay before you book.

When can I check in and out?

Check in from 3 pm, until 9 pm (later if you tell us), and check out by 12 pm. An early arrival or a late checkout is fine whenever the chalet is free the night before or after: just ask.

How do I hold my dates?

Pick a chalet and your nights and book, then send a 30% deposit by Whish. The booking page shows the exact amount and the number to send it to, and the dates are yours once it arrives. The rest is paid when you arrive.

Is there a minimum stay?

One night, except the Summit Lodge, which is two. On winter weekends we recommend two nights: the Saturday is the best day on the slopes.

What is included?

Linen, towels, firewood, a welcome basket, Wi-Fi, parking, and electricity and heating around the clock. Housekeeping during a stay is on request.

Can I cancel?

Free up to 48 hours before check-in, and we return the deposit. Inside 48 hours the deposit is kept, but you can move your dates once.

How far are the ski lifts?

Five minutes by car to the Mzaar lifts at Kfardebian. When it snows, bring chains or borrow ours: the road up to the ridge is cleared every morning.

Do you take groups?

Yes. The Summit Lodge takes ten, and the whole ridge takes 33. Message us on WhatsApp for a company retreat, a wedding party or a weekend with everyone.

Are pets welcome?

Small dogs are welcome in the Juniper Cabin, the A-Frame and the Pine Loft. Tell us when you book.

Is it good in summer?

It is twenty degrees up here when Beirut is at thirty-five. Hiking from the door, the lake at Chabrouh, barbecues on the terrace, and stars at night.
